What Are Natural Coloured Diamonds?
Natural coloured diamonds are rare gems that exhibit stunning hues beyond the typical white or colourless diamonds. These colours occur due to unique geological conditions over millions of years — making each diamond one-of-a-kind. At C. Krishniah Chetty, we offer only natural, untreated coloured diamonds — nature’s finest artistry preserved in its purest form.
Colour
This is the most important factor in fancy coloured diamonds.
We evaluate colour based on:
1. Hue – The dominant colour like blue, pink, yellow
2. Tone – Lightness or darkness of the hue
3. Saturation – Intensity and uniformity of the colour
We follow this recognised grading scale:
Faint → Fancy Light → Fancy → Fancy Intense → Fancy Vivid
Colour
This is the most important factor in fancy coloured diamonds.
We evaluate colour based on:

Transaction Timing
Valid Till November 15th 2024
*FREE JEWEL CARE CHECKUP & SERVICE valid till October 15th 2024) for:
1. Polishing.
2. Setting Missing/ Fallen / Checking Setting of Diamonds & Gemstones.
3. If a missing stone is from any jewel purchased from C. Krishniah Chetty within last 365 days from date of bill, or intimated to us within 365 days, stone is replaced free as per normal policy.
4. Small, minor dent removing including on silverware. Checking of stone setting, prongs, bezel etc.
5. Straight stringing or stringing with knots in between of pearls & all beads.
6. Designing services, for modifying, remaking, remounting old jewellery and silverware, with upto maximum 3 minor iterations.
7. This programme does not include gemstone identification, treatment services, new stone replacements, missing pieces etc.
8. This service is eligible for all jewellery - whether made and sold by C. Krishniah Chetty or made by any other jewellery firm.
EXCLUSIONS
9. Supply of gemstones & diamonds.
10. Remaking, remounting charges for old jewellery and silverware will be charged as per normal prices.
11. Any major repairs/ maintenance as determined by CKC will be charged as per normal prices.
12. Breakages, colour changes while handling at client risk, although we do take care to avoid such occurrences.
13. Maximum limit per client is 5 pieces during this period (per showroom). No restriction on size or weights.
14. Tarnished Kundan or Kundalavelai refurbishing services. Elaborate stringing services or extra precious metals.
15. Labour for major maintenance works, such as temple doors, idols, mantaps, gopurams, precious metal furniture and so on.
